CIASA Member Code of Conduct   

  • Embrace the spirit of competition while abiding by CIASA principles and policies.  
  • Practice fair play, sportsmanship and respect for the game of soccer.  
  • Show respect to officials and abide by their decisions.  
  • Demonstrate mutual respect towards teammates, opponents and spectators.  
  • Nurture an environment free of confrontation and retaliation.  
  • Uphold ethical values that transcends discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, ethnicity, belief, or gender.  
  • Refrain from the use of physical force, verbal abuse, and other acts that can incite harm or violence.  
  • Promote soccer within the community and be an ambassador to the game through positive actions.

Team Manager Code of Conduct (in addition to the above)

  • Be true leaders and mentors to your players. Lead by example.
  • Ensure your players are properly rostered, dressed and ready to play at the game's scheduled start time.
  • After each game thank the referees as well as your opponents and ask your players to do the same. 
  • Team managers must ensure an ejected player on your team promptly leaves the playing area and its immediate surrounding vicinity (stands, benches, etc.) to help avoid any further conflicts.
